Huang Renxun and Nadella Unite: Advocating for Open-Source AI
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang opened a Twitter account and posted his first message, supporting open-source models and ecosystems, becoming the first top industry CEO to take a clear stance in the recent U.S. debate on whether to ban China's leading open-source models. He argued that U.S. AI leadership should not be limited to protecting a few giants but should build overall advantages through open models, computing infrastructure, and ecosystem applications. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella subsequently issued a similar call, jointly pressuring the U.S. government.
