China Successfully Launches Two AI Satellites: Jitianxing A-04 and Xiguang-2 03
The Lijian-1 Y15 rocket launched today in a 'one rocket, five satellites' manner, including Jitianxing A-04, which carries an embodied AI model capable of autonomously monitoring satellite health and planning tasks, supporting real-time uploading of large AI models. Xiguang-2 03 carries three AI weather models that directly produce forecasts onboard, reducing the response time from observation to warning to minutes. Both satellites belong to the SanTi Computing Constellation, which plans to reach 100 satellites by 2027.
