He Xiaopeng: Target to achieve per-vehicle breakeven for Guangzhou Robotaxi business by H2 2027
XPeng CEO He Xiaopeng expects the Guangzhou Robotaxi business to achieve per-vehicle breakeven as early as the second half of 2027, depending on vehicle density in specific operating areas rather than total fleet size. XPeng plans to launch a model more suitable for Robotaxi next year and will act as a full-stack software and hardware solution provider, exporting technology, AI, and vehicles to partners in various regions, rather than operating its own fleet. Currently, XPeng is in talks with dozens of potential partners, over half of which are overseas, and expects most of its future Robotaxi business to be outside China.
